umoraes
Hi guys,I just identified a SR250 remote control on my 1.8.2 Control4 HC200 controller. What are the next steps I need to do in order to navigate on TV's menu (lighting, TV, etc)... When I press the buttons (up,down, right and left), nothing changes on Control4 Menu that it's on TV.I think I'm missing any step to configure it.thanks. RyanE
Yeah, that would be *all* the steps. The SR-250 isn't programmed in the 'traditional' sense of a Home Theater Remote like a Harmony or something like that. The SR-250 driver gets it's menu from the project setup.i.e. if you don't have a project, the SR-250 has nothing to display in it's menu.If you do have a project, you need to navigate the SR-250 to the right room (List menu), and then select something (either with the '4' button and the on-screen GUI, or with the List menu), and *then* the buttons on the remote will control the selected device(s).This is why installers go to a 4-day training.RyanE
CFUG
If I read his post literally, he can display the OSD but cannot nav through it? I don't understand. As long as the Onscreen Navigator is connected to the On-Screen Device, arrowing-around should work, right?
RyanE
Probably needs the on-screen binding and AV bindings setup.Same issue...RyanE
CFUG
^No doubt that and a whole lot more. I really have no clue what possessed me to respond to this boot-leg-install thread...
