turls
I know Google TV isn't the best solution vs Apple or Roku, but it has one killer app--overlays.I envision being able to AirPlay over my DirecTV viewing without changing inputs, and using overlays for interesting stuff like Twitter or news feeds custom instead of what you get spoonfed.I see the Anymote protocol referenced here, with a cryptic mention of 2 way control.https://developers.google.com/tv/remote/Has anybody successfully integrated Google TV, even if it was by IR?I happen to have the most recent Sony box, but I assume a Revue could work as well with the same protocol and I know there are a lot of those out there. AVHomeInstalls
Don't have it active on my system now, but here was my IR solution. http://www.c4forums.com/viewtopic.php?id=10987
turls
Ok, thanks for that. Google TV searches obviously come up with way too many hits to narrow anything down. I don't even think the Sony one has IR input, but still trying to determine that. I think everything is Bluetooth, so this may be a non-starter.
