therodog
Anyone have a suggestion? Here's one big thing I'm trying to fix - anytime there's a little power blip at the house, my controller reboots and it takes 15 minutes for my control4 system to come back online completely. It's annoying, and I know that kind of thing isn't probably good for electronic equipment. Just wondering what people use at their place?
dgbrown
A ups works wonders in eliminating the problem you describe. In fact, a ups should be standard in any c4 install or any technology friendly installation. Google APC and Panamax.
Cyknight
Well requirement would depend on need - I NEVER have power "blips" and can't remember the last time I had a power-out.That said if you DO, then it certainly is a good thing to have a UPS in place. We often use Middle Atlantic pieces for this, but Panamax and APC are good DIY units that are easy enough to get.Make sure you get one with a high enough rating or you'll burn it out quick.
