brente
It doesn't look like there are any actions or scheduler agent properties to let you enable/disable a scheduler agent under program control. Is the overhead of a scheduler agent on an HC-800 negligible?
alf1096
You could create a variable Boolean. Then under scheduler have an if statement if variable true do what ever if false do what ever or nothing.
brente
thanks. that is what I was planning to do, but still requires a scheduler agent to be created and running when it might not be necessary - i.e., a vacation mode schedule that runs even if not on vacation. then, the boolean can be used to check the state. sounds like having a scheduler agent running isn't a big deal... Cyknight
It isn't, virtually no impact on system.
alf1096
Correct it's nothing. If the variable is false it would only execute 2 lines of code which is nothing.
