rbday
Hello!I am in the process of changing my TV company from Dish Network to Charter Communication.I have two dish receivers now, one in my living room and one in my bedroom. The receivers will change from Dish's to Charter Communication's.Here is my question:Can an integrator remote into my HC300 and remove and replace the drivers ... if, I connect the IR to the new receivers?I don't want to change the way things work ... just want to replace receivers. Thanks, rbday
Cyknight
As an answer to the general question (not in that I can/will - I wouldn't have the drivers) yes a dealer can do this quite easily, functionality will not change in the overall scheme, but any particular difference between boxes would of course be there.Only thin that may be affected is if you have stations added to media, especially if there's programming attached to it.Of course it would require the new boxes have all the connections you need for a/v the same as the old one.
