Are they simple contact relays that open and close the gate? What gate motors have you had great luck with? Also does anyone have some sort of status monitoring to see whether the gate is currently open or closed? Cyknight Posted August 13, 2013 Share Posted August 13, 2013 Many motors and many styles of integration.Done with both dual relay units which gives you a pretty accurate sens of open close - at least it won't close when you press open etc - but not all gate have this.Or as you mentioned use a contact sensor - some gates have a built in sensor output, for others I've used standard wireless security sensors or Axxess Ind wireless (door) contact sensors.
