daveva Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 Just purchased led par 20 floods to replace regular reflector bulbs. Problem is leds will not fade like the regular bulbs. They do ok until the last second and then go out abruptly instead of a soft fade. Would the problem be the DIM1-Z dimmer or is it the type of led that I purchased ? RyanE Posted October 9, 2013 Share Posted October 9, 2013 No LEDs are going to have the exact same dimming profile as incandescents.They require some minimum level to even turn on, and then a minimum level to dim down to in order to remain on.In some Control4 dimmer drivers, you can set the properties of the dimmer, so that it will do a minimum value turn-on, which may help.RyanE Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
