David Posted December 2, 2013 Share Posted December 2, 2013 Hi All, Does anybody know if it is possible to get the raw configuration of a C4 project from a DriverWorks driver? I know that the DirectorState.xml file contains all the detail on the project but this appears to only get written to disk every 5 mins or so. Changes that occur in Composer take a while to appear in DirectorState.xml so I wondered if the actual configuration is stored somewhere else? Help much appreciated. RyanE Posted December 2, 2013 Share Posted December 2, 2013 DirectorState.xml is written only when the project changes, so it's updated typically less than every 5 minutes, especially since a project save takes quite a few resources. There's no built-in way in DriverWorks to get the entire project backup file. Also, DirectorState.xml does *not* contain a full backup, it's missing all the .c4i files for the devices in the project, as well as the media database and coverart.
