Digital Audio - Conflict w/ Media Controller NAS?

Hey all. 

 

I am in process of moving my digital music from Media Controller to NAS. The MC is just a slave now in Family Room. The HC-300 in another room does most of the work now.

NAS is a MyBook Live 2 TB

 

My screensaver pics are selecting from NAS fine.

 

My digital audio files no longer play when part of a program.

 

When I look at navigator/music, I see 2 copies of each album. So I assume C4 is scanning both the MC and NAS.

 

When I go to programming to select a tune, Composer hangs up and crashes.

 

I can only assume there is a conflict? Do I delete MC from the project or delete the audio files on it?

 

Or is there something in my Digital Audio Connections that needs to be redone?

Most likely it's seeing both, but the best way to clear the old stuff it to delete the driver for the controller completely - re-adding it from scratch if required for control. This should delete all media for it from the database, and as long as you don't scan it again, it should stay that way.

 

However, it's also possible the dtatbase file has gotten corrupt, which would require one to delete it and rescan the media (there should be some threads on this).
