vstar Posted July 8, 2014 Share Posted July 8, 2014 Hi, I have an older 7" touchscreen running 1.8.0 and I need to upgrade it to 2.5.2. please (i do not want to go to 2.5.3 currently). I thought composer use to have an advanced button in the upgrade portion where you could select version to upgrade too but either my memory is faulty or it has been taken out? I have tried to create a 2.5.2 install stick from the usb creator utility but when I stick it in the 7" screen and power it up it does not update? I have 2 other screens of the same model and both of them have 2.5.2 so I know it is capable of it. I also tried holding down the reset button for 30 seconds with the usb install stick in but that did not help. Am i doing something wrong or is there a magic button sequence? are the usb ports on c4 devices picky as to what usb sticks work in them? i am just using a generic no name 8gb stick.
