OMF Posted June 7, 2015 Share Posted June 7, 2015 After a backup - factory data reset - restore cycle of an Android phone, in my case a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (currently on OS 5.0.1), do I need to add my already set up controller (i.e. “Add System”) in my Control4 MyHome app, or the backup-factory data reset-restore will preserve all the settings, so I don’t have to be on the same WiFi network as my Control4 system to make the app work again? Cyknight Posted June 7, 2015 Share Posted June 7, 2015 As long as you have 4Sight you don't have to be on the same network by default.As long as you restore to the SAME phone, restore will likely work - if you restore to a replacement (even if it's an identical model) it will not due to serial/mac mismatch (security reasons) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
