henniae
Is the somfy remote IR? If it is you can learn the IR codes into C4 and control it.

actuator
You need a RTS (Somfy RF) Interface. This bridge connects to your C4 processor and bridges RS232 into RTS to control the shades.
orrinc
Make sure you get the Somfy interface with RS-232. The older dry contact interface boxes are awful! You can still use the dry contact closures with the RS-232 box . . .

actuator
"i have the somfy rts interface but have not installed it as of yet. my dealer looked for the driver and said there was 12 different ones." Is the RS232 interface black or white? The black one is listed as Somfy 5 channel 9600 Baud, the white one is listed as Somfy 16 channel 9600 Baud. CFUG
^So, how did it go with this? I'm in same boat now. Thanks!
weepee
My dealer never got the serial cord to work and was in a hurry to move on, so he hooked it up to relay i/o on the back of 300. it works. I can schedule it for certain times and events. Not as smooth as the serial hook should have been. The dealer says he'll take another crack at it when he's in the area, but it's been 6 months now and i know it's off his radar.
CFUG
Ok. I told my dealer not to bother with it but just thought I'd ping you. Thanks.
alanchow
i wrote one of the rts drivers. it works fine. up stop down stop. yet again your dealer can obtain it from the dealer forum.
username#1
For me, it's not about a driver. Dry contacts on a HC-300 hacked into a Telis 1 RTS ($60 max cost) strategically placed. Otherwise, it's the expensive serial interface, driver and T&M. I'll take the low road.
alanchow
integration is dependant on several factors.1) how many banks of blinds there are2) cable runs / environmentBoth relay and rts solutions are good but which one you choose is on a job by job basis.
