Joshua Pressnell
I'm trying to add an IR Code to my projector driver. The original setup was done with the composite input, and I've switched to using HDMI, but they never captured the remote code for it. I go to add the IR code and after Step 1, I get the text "An alternate frequency has been captured. Repeat steps to capture the code.". I repeat this a few times and most of the time nothing happens. Eventually, (only sometimes) I get through to Step 2, where it says "Repeat to verify code". I do that, and I get "An alternate code was captured, repeat to verify". I do that, and I end up at a message "Error capturing code." and the loop starts over. Does anybody know what's going on here?

Joshua Pressnell
Vidikron Model 30. The original installer setup the component 1/2 and S video inputs, but never captured the HDMI input selection.
duck_man
Try this one: 0000 0067 0000 0022 0176 00B5 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0043 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0043 0015 0043 0015 0043 0015 0043 0015 0043 0015 0015 0015 0043 0015 0043 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0043 0015 0043 0015 0015 0015 0043 0015 0015 0015 0043 0015 0043 0015 0043 0015 0015 0015 0015 0015 0043 0015 0015 0015 0043 0015 0630 Sometimes when learning a code into Control4 you need to use a short pulse instead of a 2 second hold. Alternatively try remote central for a code.
Joshua Pressnell
Thanks. I'll give that code a try. I've tried a variety of learning techniques... I've used short pulse, 1 sec, 2 sec, 6 sec. Seems to result in the same thing every time. Where did that code come from? I looked at Remote Central and didn't find anything obvious for the HDMI selection button.
Joshua Pressnell
That code definitely worked. For future reference, how did you find it? Thanks!!!
