Cinegration
I'm not even sure if you can with something that old. You might have to install 1.3.2, and download the update files of old times from tech support. and point them to another location.
jesh
Hmm. I still have 1.3.2. installed incase I needed to use it.Anybody else have any suggestions?? This was one replacement screen in a rather large setup. Thankfully it's not a screen used daily (in the laundry room).
Matt
Its recommended you go from 1.2 to 1.3 then to 1.6, you have to use 1.2 system manager to update. Umboot wasn’t installed on that version.

PeterM1
Why not rebuild from scratch with the 1.6 USB key? Wouldn't that work?
jesh
I dont know. Can anyone let me know if they've tried this?
slemay
1.2 doesn't have the ability to boot off of a USB key - that was introduced in the 1.3 release...So I'd go back to getting the dealer (or you if you are the dealer) to install 1.3 and then 1.6.Older releases of Composer are available in the Dealer Site on Control4's web site. PeterM1
booting off USB is not the only way to use the restore key, at least for devices with removable media (SD) . I don't know if the MTS boots off SD or an embedded EEPROM but agreed the best/easiest way would be for the dealer to go through the revs.
