"A La Carte" Service Model - HAAAS

I'm seeing so much activity in HA...here are two questions for anyone with a few minutes to discuss...

1.  What is the most successful dealer-sponsored "a la carte" customer service model, where owners pay a monthly or annual subscription fee for remote and onsite service calls, in addition to or on top of device ?

2. What is the best "Home Automation As A Service" marketing pitch you've seen, whether from C4, Crestron, Savant, Google, et al?
