Does this dvd player work with C4. As in can we program IR codes for it into C4 remotes? We have 3 dvd players dead in the house and need a cheap solution?

If you have the remote for the DVD you should be able to use Driver Wizard to create anew driver or modify an existing driver.

But you should be buying something that has discrete power codes. I don't believe the Philips has them.
