Will Composer HE allow us to program the remote control keys?

Hi, I can't seem to be able to find anywhere in composer HE where I can program the keys on my remote (I have one v2 and another SR-250 remote control)

I basically want to program certain keys to control my Cable TV, when the TV source is selected.

Also, while we are discussing remote controle programming, my dealer is about to upgrade my system to 1.7 and I have already downloaded the newest Composer HE version. Once this is done, will I be able to program the Watch and Listen keys on my SR-250 via HE?

Go under programming. Select the room you wish to program the buttons for. Select which button you wish to program and add your code. In this screen shot I am adding programming for the blue button.

Is there a way to lean the code that is in my currernt Cable TV remote into one of the C4 remote buttons?

Your dealer can do that, as the feature is only available in Composer Pro.

I agree and disagree. It's easy to mess up IR drivers, although it's not out of the scope of a DIY. The dealer can do it remotely if that helps.

agree, I'm used to do fancy stuff with my former Pronto Classic, where I would even try to find discrete Hex codes for some of my HT gear...

In the old days, we had alot of problems getting custom IR drivers to work right. I think it would probably be ok for most users these days. It's gotten alot better on the composer side.

How do I make one of the colored buttons do like shown in the screen shot above. When ever I try hitting my colored button even when prodrammed like above I just get the comfort, lights, house or info screens instead of the command I program
