mharshany
If you port forward the IP address of your C4 controller over port 5020, you can access your Control4 system from any wifi location (instead of having to log into mycontrol4.com on iPhone). Does work over GSM. For some reason - maybe proprietary - you must be on wifi to use iPhone Control UI.
C4 4 Me
You do not need to be on Wifi - it works over the 3G network as well.
mharshany
You will have to share how to do that If I am not connected to, say, a neighbors wifi - it says something like "no wifi connection detected"Thanks,MH

RyanE
Yes, and it's better if you can setup a vpn connection to get to it, although how to do that is beyond the scope of a forum post, and depends on what router you're using.RyanE
