BuffaloC4
Just bought a Kramer 66h 6x6 hdmi matrix. I can see it in k-lan configurator but cannot assign an IP or identify. Also can’t get serial working. Willing to pay for experienced network integrator or anyone with experience with Kramer serial. im using the same 3.5mm to serial that controlled my old hdmi matrix. please ! I’be been walking across to my closet every time I need to switch a source. stupid IR is my next option, please help. -Jake Madia
sonic30101
Have you tried flipping the RX and tx pins for the serial connection?
BuffaloC4
Ugh. I don’t even know what that means really. I understand the concept. Do I split the cable and switch the leads? Doesn’t the null modem option on the EA3 handle these type of connections. I really don’t know. But I’m desperate. Documentation says null is not required. My old matrix was the mono price 4x4 with the same physical rs232 connection. Does anyone use this Kramer driver? IP or serial? Kramer VS-66h. Great switching but no control! BuffaloC4
The control option inside composer pro doesn’t allow the sources to be highlighted/chosen.
