jsimon77
Looking for some help. I've had my Elk system working on C4 for 6 years and for the past 6 months on OS3. Last couple of time I've gone to arm the system I'm getting a new message on the C4 app. See attached. If I hit continue it will arm like normal but I'm not sure why I'm getting this screen all of the sudden? Any help would be great!

Andrew luecke
Do you have any non alarm zones? I've seen it happen in the official ELK driver.. That's actually been pulled from the database now. You could use the trial (and if you're an installer, we have a major new beta if you contact us directly), for the Chowmain driver: https://chowmain.software/drivers/control4-elk-m1 It has a 90 day trial

I have doors, windows, motion...only one that is not in those categories that shows up under "unknown" is "keyfob"

But, I'm not sure if anyone I spoke to actually solved this, and I recall this exact issue was one of the factors why we chose to develop our own driver despite the free one
scottjmeller
I believe I have one non-alarm zone, my garage door, but I am not exactly sure what you mean by that. I am not an installer, but I had my installer program it so the garage needs to be closed for the alarm to be set (or bypass that zone), but if it is opened without the alarm being turned off after a delay, the panel goes into alarm, but it doesn't set off a full alarm as in siren and contacting the monitoring service. That would only happen once the door from the garage into the house is opened and after a delay for entry and disarm. I am not sure if any of this is helpful, but that is as much as I know at this point. My C4 programmers used the Inhouse Logic driver which I understand is no longer supported as Inhouse Logig is no longer in business. C4 support is who informed me of that info and suggested the use of the Drivercentral.IO driver, but ultimately this message is being sent from the ELK panel so I don't think the driver has anything to do with it. That error isn't actually sent by the panel. It's something defined in the code
