JeremyDB
Hi, I started having issues with my C4 system a few days ago where my C4 IOS app (OS3) stopped working reliably. Most of the time I use the app it takes forever to load the project. Once it loads, none of the listen/watch functions work. I also can't control volume or quit any of the existing sessions. In addition, as I'm using the app it randomly reloads the project and the watch/listen icons sometimes randomly disappear leaving only the settings icon. I originally thought this was just an app issue, but none of my Alexa scenes work either, and when I try to connect to the system with ComposerHE it quickly connects and disconnects from the director. The only way I can reliably connect to the system is using the Zigbee remotes, but even then, my internet radio streams like TuneIn periodically stop working. I've tried rebooting my EA5 and uninstalling/reinstalling the app at least four times each. I've reached out to my dealer, but he runs a pretty small operation and has been swamped lately with big installs. Hoping someone here may have an idea as to what's going on. My director version is 3.1.1.569774-res and my 4Sight subscription is up to date. Also, I’m getting ~900Mbs/s up/down via ethernet so I don’t think that’s the issue either, although I did have to recently hard reset the cable modem in the house. msgreenf
I would look at what dns servers you are using? Are you using isp dns? That does seem to cause a lot of issues. Also current version of os 3 is 3.2.1 JeremyDB
msgreenf
Also sometimes out dated drivers that have problems can cause issues.

Yeah, I’m hoping to have my dealer upgrade to latest OS when he can finally get to my system.
msgreenf
Are you setup for dhcp for dns on your router? Or have you set your router to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4 JeremyDB
mujtaba.khokhar
Agree with @msgreenfupdate your system and all of its drivers, check your dns settings, should get you back up and running smooth again. Thanks Muj

Is this the way it should be or should it be 8.8.8.8? Thanks, Jeremy

Does this provide the info you are talking about.

Do I need to reboot the EA5? Thanks!

JeremyDB
17 minutes ago, msgreenf said: yes, reboot it Ok, rebooted, and can now log in on the app. Unfortunately, the control is not much better. I can control through the app, but only after force quitting the app every time I want to change something. Also, still no control via Alexa and no internet music streaming. Perhaps that’s a OS and driver issue then? Thanks again for your help!
