TCANAL
I was wondering if someone could help me with a wiring diagram as how to wire up system. I have a sony 400 dvd player. HC 500 and a HC300 controllers. How do I wire dvd to HC500 then to HC300 so I can see on other TV's over home network. Do I need other components? I have Composer Pro and seem to understand it. thecodeman
Sorry, the Control4 controllers do not encode video. To view the sources (dvd player, hc300, etc) around the house you'll need a video matrix switch.
TCANAL
Thanks for the reply which Video matrix switch do you recommend. Control4 does not make one that I have seen.
thecodeman
Control4 did partner with Sony on one, but I recommend Zektor and NeoPro for both local component and component over Cat5 solutions. There are others like Audio Authority and VideoStorm as well, depending on what you're looking for.

The HC-300 plugs into the matrix switch, then one of the outputs is connected to the TV.
