Kaykim
As a newbie with Control4 I need some help with the My Music function. I put some mp3 on a USB stick, put it in the device, assuming I would be able to listen to them on my speakers. Not happening! The songs don’t even show in the app.... What am I doing wrong?? Spotify, Deezer, InTune all work correctly and I played the USB from another device. Please help me!
-defunct-
When a USB is plugged in, it creates a driver. It then needs to be scanned. You can scan it with Composer HE or Pro.
Kaykim
Thanks @Dunamivora Will have to contact the dealer because I only have Mac and Composer is Windows software. At least I know what the problem is.
BraydonH
I might be wrong about this because I never ever use my music but im pretty sure you can download Composer ME (Media Edition) for free to do the scan yourself. No dealer involved.

At least I know what the problem is. If you're able to get yourself a copy of parallels for the mac, you can either purchase a Composer HE lifetime licence from a dealer (Composer Media Edition is built into it) OR if your Control4 OS is 3.1 or lower, you can download just Composer ME for free. All the OS's higher than 3.1 no longer offer a standalone Composer ME. It's only available with Composer HE. If you need to purchase, I can help you out with that. -defunct-

No dealer involved. ME was discontinued 3.1.1+. It would be a solution for older versions.
