Back when our control4 system was first installed, we had wiring run to the front door, and an original door station installed. This has worked well for the last 10 years, but I am going to be upgrading to version 3, and it is not supported. My dealer is no longer local. But has been supporting me remotely, with me doing the local labor, and him doing the programming. I've ordered the new chime through him, and have received it, but I'm on my own as far as swapping them out. Would somebody have the instruction manuals for the door station, and more importantly for the back box that was used with these original installations? I am trying to figure out what the disassembly procedure would be, and I'm basically planning to take it down to bare wall and then have the stucco patched and repainted prior to installing the chime. I don't really want to get into it without seeing the original manuals of how it was installed, so I can figure out how to uninstall, and what will be required. also, it looks as if there was a security crew or bolt with this, any idea what type this was...
