MSI
Getting an Xbox today. We want to hook it up to a A/V matrix (Video Storm). The main use of the Xbox will be to play games in the basement near the AV rack. We also want to use the Xbox for Netflix on any TV. Is there an C4 Xbox driver that will do this ? neil12011
you will simply use it as a distributed source, and yes there is a driver for it.

bog
XBox in the AV rack and XBox controller in another room. I can distribute the audio and video easily... how can the controller still work?
neil12011
you're not going to be able to use one xbox as a "central gaming system". Pretty much each room that wants to "play" will have to have a local xbox. I've heard of extenders for the 360 controller, but nothing revolutionary. As far as video distribution goes, you'll be fine.
MikeNYC
Neil-I've got my XBox in the rack and running into my matrix switch, and it works great! The controllers work fine wirelessly even through 2 walls and the metal rack. Obviously two different rooms can't play different games simultaneously, but with it centralized you can choose to play it in different locations just fine. neil12011
My point is that range will be limited. More power if you can get it to work for your desired application.
