Studio5150
Hello everyone, I have a quick question, I have to install an audio zone at a client's garden. (with a landscape sound system.) but outside I only have access to an (double) RJ45 cat 7, and it is impossible to pass cables back to the interior of the house. Do you have a solution/idea how to connect "the zone" via the rj45 to the interior control4 system? Thanks for your help My Best.
LollerAgent
Are you putting the amp(s) for the landscape system outside or in the centralized rack indoors? If it's outside, you can just use the CAT7 with an audio balun to send 2-channel audio back to your matrix, etc indoors in the rack.

tekki70
if you only have a cat going inside, then you have 2 options 1 if you have a matrix use audio baluns from the matrix to an amp outside in a safe place out of the weather 2 use a triad one outside and again put the triad in a safe place out of the weather
Studio5150
The option 2 was my first Idea, but to scare to let my Triad One outside... Or if I found a "waterproof box"...
Studio5150
If I resume Inside Rack - Triad One -> RCA -> Balun (002_audio_cable.jpg) -> RJ45 -> Balun (002_audio_cable.jpg) -> RCA/audio wire adaptor (001_audio_cabel.jpg) -> Speakers. Like that ?
