Chime driver not adding into project

Hi

Hopefully someone can help on this forum.

I am having difficulty adding the chrime driver to my project. The OS is 3.2.3

When I try and add the driver either using the discovered tab, or dragging the driver over to the correct room,  composer pro locks up for about 5 mins and then errors with the following:-

Unable to add dependent driver:

contactsingle_motionsensor_c4.c4i for the Control4 Chime

Video Doorbell driver.

 

I've checked the control4 knowledgebase and couldn't see anything related. Ive also added the driver to another system without issues, so the problem looks to be local to the system I am working on.

I do already have this driver multiple times within this project connected to sensors from an alarm system, and I can also manually add a new motion sensor device to the project without issues.

Ive tried composer express, and that doesn't work either. Don't get an error message this time, just goes round in circles either through SDDP or manually searching.

Once the room is selected pressing on the add device just returns to the previous menu with no warnings or messages.

I'll report the issue to control4 and see what they say.

Just to let you know I have resolved the problem, but do not know what the issue was that caused it in the first place.

 

Basically the project degraded, and would not install any driver, so I reverted to a backup from the end of October, and everything now works correctly and the chime driver is now installed.
