Anthony B
Hi All, I’m using a Binary binary b-660-ext-444-100a balun at a clients house and we have notice that the receive end of the balun is quite hot. I wouldn’t say extreme but it’s more hot than what I would have thought is normal operating temp. Using original power supply provide in the box- I am in Australia so it’s 220V into the transformer and I believe 18V to the gear. has anyone experienced this or able to advise if this is normal? Thanks
Cyknight
They run hot, more so if powered on one side. I would hope you're supplying 12v to it though. Measure. If over 40c - it's too hot
