snowdall
Hello all,I'm trying to write a driver for a Napco GEMP9600 security panel and have been having a hell of a time. After a lot of cursing and going back and forth with their rather unhelpful support staff, I realize that my problem is that the panel requires some non-standard control of the RTS line in the serial port. I wanted to know if there is a way in Driverworks to specifically control the RTS line of an HC-500 serial port. Any suggestions? Thanks,Snowdall
thecodeman
That's a good question to ask the guys on the dealer forums.
RyanE
As I responded on the dealer forums, you can't programmatically access the handshaking lines of a serial port from a Control4 Driver. My suggestion is to use a different (supported) panel.RyanE
