zg825
I am going to replace two of my smart door locks and want to make sure that they will be compatible with Control4. I am looking at Yale Assure (YRLD226C42619), but see that they cost $400 each when buying the control4 version. I want to be able to control the Door lock via control4 (add in codes, add programming if a code is entered). I see that I can order Yale Assure through amazon for $270, but it is a Wi-Fi. I assume that this won't connect cleanly to control4. Even if there was a work around, the $130 savings each will go away quickly once programming gets involved and will probably not be as reliable as if I just went with the control4 version. I've tried to go down the cheaper path before which backfired, but figured I would find out from the community if they had any luck and what their experience has been. chopedogg88
I would go with a kwikset obsidian with Control4 zigbee card as long as you have good zigbee coverage. You cannot get the Yale/c4 locks right now due to major supply chain issues. I'm a dealer, they have been removed from the dealer portal...
