App connection problems with TP link deco M9

Hi,

I have TP link Deco M9 wifi mesh, unfortunately I cannot connect to C4 3.3.0 on a HC800 via the app.

Does anyone have an idea for a work round? Except replacement!

If replacement is the only way, what cost effective solution would you recommend please?

You need to make sure your mesh system is in beige mode and not in router mode. 
 

you’re basically creating two networks with it in router mode.

Could be lots of things..

Make sure its not set up as Guest Wifi, make sure its not set up as mesh, make sure its all on the same vlan. 

Also, turn off wifi on your router, and connect everything through a central switch (don't use the switch ports on the main router)

 

Make sure you can ping the HC800 from a laptop at least. That being said, your installer should be able to help you

Please let me know why no mesh?
Don't use the ports on the router?
