Roon driver setup

Recommended Posts

Anyone here good with Roon setup?  I don't quite understand how to configure their drivers properly...client has like 5 "zones" of Roon...driver docs say to configure each zone driver to be the audio endpoint and volume endpoint for the room in Control4 in order for it to show up under Listen.  However I already have endpoints for the rooms in Control4 (Triad Matrix and a Triad One amp for example).  Am I supposed to use the Audio Endpoint 2 and Volume 2?  Or am I supposed to make an audio connection binding between the Roon Zone driver and something (as you normally would for any A/V source)?

Based on our experience, your first proposed approach should work.  In our case, we are using Sonos, so I don't know if Triad One would be different. But, setting that aside, we eventually got it working after dealer bound each Roon Zone to Audio Endpoint 2 in the respective room and then bound the associated Sonos device in each room to both Audio Volume 1 and Audio Volume 2 in that room.
