Composer HE Problems

Recommended Posts

Earlier today, I was having no problems with HE. Now, for the past hour or so, it is running very slow, doesn't always connect, and sometimes closes out. I have rebooted the Core3 and started the computer over. I am running the latest version of HE (3.4.0.681769). Any ideas of what to try next? Thanks.
Update - All fixed. I tried HE on a second computer that is has a wired ethernet connection and HE worked perfect. I then hooked my original computer up to a wired ethernet and it worked too. I then rebooted the access point and now HE works fine with wifi.
For others that run into similar problems, I kept getting the message pop up each time I opened HE. However, I know I had an internet connection and the firewall allowed for HE. But again, rebooting the router worked.

  • 2 weeks later...

I'm trying to install Composer HE 3.4 using parallels with a Windows 11 VM on my M1 Mac. This has always worked with all earlier versions but now the installer crashes the VM every time and it won't install at all. I've tried creating a new VM and no dice. Is anyone else having this problem?

EDIT: NM I figured it out apparently the creation of a desktop shortcut during install was causing a system crash, when I unchecked that option before install, the install moved along fine with no crashes.......computers! 🤷‍♂️
