Hi, I have two different runs using a Binary B660 and Binary B540.  A couple times a month I get no video but can still hear audio.  Sometimes though there is no audio or video.  I have to go to my rack and unplug the power and plug it back in to get them working again.  I’m fairly confident it’s HDCP handshake issues.  I am primarily running video signals from 4K Apple TVs and 4K DirecTV Stream Osprey boxes to them through Onkyo receivers. It’s not a huge hassle when I have to do it but it defeats the purpose of having Control4 when I’m traveling and my wife has the issue.  I’ve trained my 14yo daughter to fix it just in case.  Has anyone encountered this?  Are there workarounds? Different settings I should be using?  These models do not seem to have update-able firmware. Thanks!  My next step may be to ask my installer to switch from Cat6 to direct fiber/HDMI runs since the runs aren’t that long.

Most often if you get a no video but audio (or the reverse for that matter) it's because something goes awry with 'auto' setting on resolution etc. and EDID handling. Best practice in most cases is to 'set' the resolution at a certain setting at a source level, and if using a surround receiver, it can often help to ensure that you are NOT upscaling on it (as that tends to create HDCP issues)

As you mention that in all isntances it's going through Onkyo receivers, I would suggest a 'trial' run with a long cable if feasible in one location: it's possible that the Onkyo HDMI boards are the source of the handshake issues, and if so HDBaseT balun or direct HDMI may not make a difference.

Alternatively, you could consider getting a controlled power bar for those baluns, so you can have a experience button to 'reset' the lot of them if there are issues that is easy to use for everyone else (if this is a rare occasion of course, not a regular irritant)

I am a user with a similar issue.   I have a Roku device in my equipment room connected to a Binary 660 transmitter.  That transmitter splits off the sound to the C4 system. The receiver is behind the living room TV.  About 30% of the time, when I turn on the TV the sound will play through the system speakers correctly, however, I will not get a video feed to the tv.  The TV (new Sony) will display no input.   If I turn off and on the tv multiple times eventually the video feed will be displayed.   I have a 4k Roku and a 4k sony.   I primarily watch YoutubeTV so not all video streams are 4k.   What settings should I use if auto is not best practice.

Thank you for your assistance.
