Replacing Audio Matrix Switch

Hi, I currently have a model C4-16ZAMSV3-B Audio Matrix Switch, however i do not know if it works or not. When i plug in the ethernet port no lights come on to show any connectivity. The power and Ethernet cable are both working so I have concluded this is a problem with the AMS. Would i better off trying to repair the AMS or would it be better to buy a new one (if so, which would be a better ams to upgrade to?).

That switch is very old. I would recommend replacing/upgrading to a Triad AMS16. It has better audio quality and digital optical and digital coax inputs (along with analog), which helps when connecting modern components which often don't have analog audio outputs.

What about with this AMP: C4-AMP108. What would be the best to replace this?

You can wait till it dies (those amps are known to have problems...), or upgrade it to the new Triad PAMP8-125-v2

I had this exact same issue, and the problem is the power supply board. I found one on ebay for about $100, and it's been working great for months. Great way to save yourself $2500 on a new traid AMS.
