Mini DS2 Door Station has stopped ringing on our iPhones

Recommended Posts

Our Mini DS2 Door Station has stopped ringing on our iPhones, so we are not audibly notified that there is someone at our front door.  Is this a known issue that is easily fixed?  If so, would please let me know what is best do?  The reason for my question is we are in the process of finding a new dealer as our dealer has ceased trading and finding a new dealer to take over is not easy.

By way of some background information:

  1. We have a 4Sight subscription that is renewed annually, due for renewal in March 2024.
  2. Our Mini DS2 Door Station has been set up to send a message to our iPhones and take a photo when someone presses the button.  However, there’s a delay, and by the time we receive the notification/picture, the person is walking away or has left.
  3. Our Mini DS2 Door Station is connected to our Control4 system via a Pakedge Network Switch (Model: SX-24P8)
  4. Our Wifi Network has been set up with 3 Pakedge Wireless Access Points (Model: WK-1), and provides good coverage throughout the house.
  5. Our internet provider does not currently provide full fibre in our area, but our network speeds are around 70Mbps for downloads and around 17 Mbps for uploads

I hope someone can help or point us in the right direction.  Please let me know if you need any more information as I am set up to use Composer Home Edition.

Kind regards,

Derek

Meanwhile, I have a couple of specific questions:

1 - is it normal for the top item on the intercom screen in the Control4 App tone highlighted like the one shown in the photo below.  If not what does this suggest it the problem?

2 - When I try calling out Control4 Touchscreen, I get the message in the photo below: "Declined

Call was declined. (603)".  Does anyone now what this means, as we are unable to use the Intercom between our iPhones and our touchscreen?
