shimms Posted February 13 Share Posted February 13 I want to add an extra 4 zones to my current audio setup, potentially replacing the current PAMP4-100 with a PAMP8-100 (not the new 125). Can someone confirm if it limits power output when all zones are active? I've heard that when all zones are active is halves the power output to each channel - but haven't been able to confirm this anywhere and my current integrator doesn't know about this. Rack space is a bit limited, so I don't want to add another PAMP4 along side the existing one. Full power to all 16 channels, discrete amplifier power for each channel, rather powering all 16 channels even if only one zone is outputting, new amplification circuitry.
