Trigger C4 events/actions from outside C4

I use frigate for its NVR, object detection capabilities and want to trigger events inside of C4 if certain conditions are met (e.g. turn on gate lights if there's a person at the gate and its after sunset). I can do all the logic outside of C4, but need to trigger the lights/events somehow.

Any guidance?

You can use the Chowmain Generic TCP Driver as one way of doing this. This driver works both ways - you can do HTTP Gets or Puts to trigger events outside of C4 or you can hit a certain URL on your C4 controller and it will trigger C4 to do stuff.

There is also a really old Webevents driver written by @RyanE that may still work for triggering events in C4.
