Ajbarrister
I have a 3 button at the exit door of our master bedroom. I programmed an all off button when button 1 is pressed. The issue is In the script I say "turn off family", however the only item that turns off is the TV. If the light is on it does not turn off. So I added a line of script that says "turn off light". Why is this? If the script says room off why won't all items in that room turn off? Is it a binding/connections issue?
pharmdsmith
Nope that's just how it works. Turning a room off includes only audio and video. If you want several lights to go off, the easiest way is to create a light scene. The way you did it is how it should work. Threw me for a curve when I added my lights to my system too. CFUG
One strange thing I encountered when excuting the "All Off" under 1.8.2 was the setting of 6B LEDs to the OFF color. Now that's weird. OK under 1.7...
RyanE
All Off only does an audio / video path shutdown. If your 6button keypad LEDs are getting turned off, there's programming somewhere doing it.Room Off definitely doesn't do that.RyanE
CFUG
^I was referring to a light scene "All Off". The OP needs a light scene instead of that wad of code he's got there.
