akg4y
Im pretty sure someone else has probably run into this but lets say you have an AV Switch with an Apple TV on it and you have XBMC loaded on the Apple TV. Is it possible to make it so that you can select Apple TV on the SR-250 and have it put the AV Switch on the correct input (say input 1) and use the Apple TV driver, but ALSO be able to pick 'XBMC' from the SR-250 and have the AV Switch go to the *same* input but now use the XBMC driver? ILoveC4
Should be possible. Is there an IR command to launch XBMC? To C4 they're seperate devices so it will work fine. You can bind as many devices as you want to one input.
akg4y
There is a way to set XBMC to launch with an IR command but since I am using the Apple TV I just navigate to it. The big problem is the XBMC driver is an IP driver whereas the Apple TV driver is an IR driver, so I need to be able to switch between them. My dealer doesnt know how to do this without creating a fake room or something, so what exactly needs to be done, just have him say that XBMC and the Apple TV are connected to 'Input 1' on my AV Switch? The Apple TV doesnt turn on or off so that wont be an issue.
ILoveC4
Yup...just have him bind both the Apple TV and the XBMC drivers to same input on the A/V switch.
