Pool and patio audio programming

I have purchased a CA five button mini remote to be used outside at the pool and patio areas of our home (both zones are running off C4 multi-channell amp). I would like to program a couple different things and am looking for thgouths/suggestions. Of the five buttons, I would like to use two for volume (one up and one down) and one for all pool/patio off. So, I have two buttons left to work on the audio zones. But, I would like the option of using the audio zones seperate and together when needed. As a note, all the buttons have press, release, hold and tap programming options.

My original thought is something like this:

Button 1 press:

If room off, then select pool audio

If pool audio on, then turn off and turn on patio audio

Button 2 press:

If room off, then turn on media scene (pool and patio audio together)

If pool audio on, then turn off and then turn on media scene (pool and patio audio together)

If patio audio on, then turn off and then turn on media scene (pool and patio audio together)

So, now a couple questions. One, do you think this will work consistently? Two, do you have any other programming options/suggestions?

Thanks.

There are lots of ways to do this with a single button if you want.

Button 1 press:

If room off

Select pool audio

Stop

If pool on

If patio on

Turn off pool.

Stop

Turn on Patio

Stop

If patio on

Turn off patio.

That requires you to cycle through 4 different states (all off, pool on, pool and patio on, patio on) to get to what you want.

Alternatively you could do a multitap which does

1 Single tap - Toggle patio

2 Double tap - Toggle pool

3 Triple tap:

If pool on

If patio on

Turn pool and patio off

Stop

Turn on pool and patio
