whiskeyhotel Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 I am having trouble getting my iPad to authenticate with Control4UI's iPad app. I have registered my controller on myControl4.com and I am running 1.8.2 software version. I have an iPad subscription registered at myControl4.com. On the iPad side, the iPad app sees my Director (an HC-300).All seems to be in order, but I continue to get "Device not authenticated".Ideas?
ILoveC4 Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Do you have the system waiting for out to be authenticated? This is done within the network connections area of Composer where switches and other zigbee devices are identified.
whiskeyhotel Posted August 14, 2010 Author Posted August 14, 2010 Is that functionality (network connections area) only available in Composer Pro or am I missing something? I have Composer HE.Thanks.
thecodeman Posted August 15, 2010 Posted August 15, 2010 Only Composer Pro. The driver needs to be installed as well.
Acetechno Posted August 17, 2010 Posted August 17, 2010 Plus you need to have your Controller do a "Check in" to get the new license. One way to do this is thru Composer. Make sure it is added in your project and then need to address it in network like you would a zigbee light dimmer as an example. Good Luck.
Booth1 Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Is there a composer home edition available for an iMac
ILoveC4 Posted August 18, 2010 Posted August 18, 2010 Nope. You cannot identify a device using HE either....
