janusz
Hi there,My client would like to connect existing Lutron system (processor series 4 with few graphic eyes) to Control4 I have just installed for him.I have never done it before and need few clues.Questions:1 - how do you connect both. do you put Lutron on the local computer network to allow C4 speak to it. Or do you use rs232???2 - I know there are drivers for Lutron in the Composer but will this driver be good for me knowing I have processor4 and graphic eyes?Best regardsJanusz
ILoveC4
I would suggest installing the driver and reading its documentation.

3fingerbrown
talk him into ebaying his Lutron gear and going all control4. Those grafik eye things are hideous and awkward compared to C4 IMO.
janusz
hmm, they do not want to change they want to integrate. Also this is old english house (+basement) so walls are very very thick and radio reception is very poor.all bestJanusz
RyanE
The Grafik Eye units can be controlled fine, as long as they are connected to a 'modern' HomeWorks processor, and the processor has a serial and/or Ethernet connection available. It's pretty straightforward, and ILoveC4 has the right 'how-to' answer, you should get a hold of the driver, and read it's documentation.RyanE
