CFUG
Ever since upgrading, none of the cams show in 4Sight. Anyone else seen this as of lately? 2.0.4 did nothing for this.
pharmdsmith
Hello!Control4 has found the error with internet explorer/2.0+/cams on 4sight.They just released this info regarding a temporary fix for users with internet explorer. They are working to resolve the issue without making the customer perform the explorer changes. Try this and see if it works.Open IE > Go to Tools > Internet Options > Broswing History select Settings > Select "Every time I visit the webpage" > Hit Ok > Restart IE They say it's caching issue. CFUG
^^Paul, where would this site be without you! Dealer had no sensitivty to this. I'd not seen others complaining about this and thought I'd have to give-up and just use HTML. Thanks!!
CFUG
Well, I have visual contact through Flash but not the 1Hz update rate- more like once every 3~5 sec. and sometimes static. Looks like HTML is my friend- constant 1 Hz that way.
pharmdsmith
This is how they plan to fix it for good, which may resolve your static images. In a future control4 release which we will change the URL image every second rather than using the same URL string (resolving the caching problem).
