Posted December 7, 201014 yr Can anyone recommend something? I have a SnapA/V unit now, but it is having sporatic problems and I would like to get something new. The run is under 200 feet.Thanks.
December 7, 201014 yr I use the SnapAV baluns without incident, that would be what I would recommend. What problems are you experiencing? Have you tried to get them fixed under warranty?
December 7, 201014 yr Author I did not check on warranty as they are about 18 months old and assumed they would be out of warranty.Problem is that red component feed has a bad connection in receivers cat5 input. Red goes away and then when you unplug and then replug in the cat5 cable red works again. Any thoughts? (I already replaced the cat5 cable to eliminate that as the potential problem)

( color blind) .You sure you have the connections right? double check?
December 8, 201014 yr He said it corrects itself when you remove and reconnect the RJ45, so I'm pretty sure the cables aren't switched.
