rf5000
Hello,I was wondering if any Zigbee enabled thermostat will work just like a Control4 thermostat. There is a company called RCS that make a Zigbee thermostat. Will this work in a Control4 system?
thecodeman
Probably not. Does it conform to the HA profile for zigbee pro?
RyanE
Even if the thermostat is HA Profile, it would still need a driver within Control4, and likely wouldn't stay on the Control4 network until after 2.1 is released.I believe 2.1 releases some restrictions on a Control4 network, which could allow 3rd-party HA-compatible devices to be kicked off the network if they didn't send an identify message periodically.RyanE
