spoonman56
Silly question, but I knocked off the IR bud on the front of my HC-500 this afternoon and my dealer is not around....Its the bud that is connected to my outdoor speakers so I can't control the volume outside. Can anyone tell me approximately where to stick it back on?Thanx. henniae
I don't remember the exact location but you can shine a flashlight on the front of the unit and see the spot where the IR receiver is.

henniae
I thought it was a bit more noticeable but it is not. Sorry. I have uploaded the HC-500 user guide for you which shows the location. It is right below the power LED.
dannyboy
This does not make sense to me. The volume on a controllers media player is directly controlled via zigbee or Ethernet from the TS or remote etc. What am I missing?

This is not uncommon. This is also how the Slingbox works...IR control of the controller running Navigator.
spoonman56
I've got one of these for my backyard speakers.http://www.rticorp.com/products/U1.htmlCheaper than replacing SR-250's everytime my kids drop them in the pool.
