Kahn
I have a 10.5" inwall touchscreen and I was wondering about the "Camera" connection on the back. I searched these forums and google, but didn't come up with anything. I assume its used for security camera - but I've not seen this connection type before. What camera is compatible? What was it's general use and capability? I know it's a legacy....help me understand what it WAS used for and could I possibly begin using it?Also, the USB connection on front - what capacity thumb drive was supported? I was thinking of putting a cheap 4Gb to slideshow for screensaver...possible?Thanks for any help! I appreciate you all !!
RyanE
No cameras are compatible. The panel itself was OEMed from a different company, and there is no way to use the camera functionality, or the USB functionality from within Control4.Sorry.RyanE
Kahn
Thanks for your reply RyanE....the camera no big deal - but the USB is disappointing. Would you know if the USB ports do output power while screen is powered?
RyanE
I'd think they *should* be powered, but I don't know for sure.No way to tell but to try it.RyanE
Kahn
They are powered...checked em. Wish there was more in depth info about this screen somewhere. Which OEM was it?
