RyanE
Do the halogen lamps have their own dimmers built-in?What can typically happen (I've seen it personally with 'torchiere' halogens), is that if the built-in dimmer is at anything other than 100%, the lamp's dimmer will cause the Control4 dimmer to ramp in a non-linear fashion, even going *down* for part of the *ramp up* cycle. The best thing, if they have built-in dimmers, is to remove the built-in dimmers completely, the second-best thing would be to turn the built-in dimmers to full on, and ONLY use the Control4 dimmer.RyanE
cylon147
it doesn't have any built in dimmer.its directly connected to c4 dimmer.nothing between them.
MHotchin
We have lots of problems with our dimmers after a power outage or even just a blip - flickering, no ramp, that kind of thing. Rebooting the dimmer (pull power, or 9-9-9) seems to fix it, at least until the next power blip.
