Gbjonsson
Is it possible to display the volume on the TV screen. I would like to see what volume I'm at when lowering or raising the volume, it will be very handy in the theater so I (or my kids) know I won't damage my speakers. AVHomeInstalls
If your tv (or projector) has on screen overlay for volume, tested by using your factory remote volume control then you could place a infrared remote flasher connected to your controller and program Tv (or projector) as audio end point. Of course if your audio end point is a sound system (reciever) already it will require creative programming. Else a controller has no way of overlaying any on-screen graphics/text. ichbinbose
if your using a receiver for controlling your audio, then this would need to be a feature of the receiver. A new receiver should fix this issue.
Gbjonsson
I have a brand new Sony DA3600ES receivers in both rooms and a new Samsung Led 8000 tv in one room and a new projector in the other. It's all new C4 equipment. Does this additional info change anything? I should add that my volume is controlled through the receivers as it should be. Adidaswood
i know my Denon will only display it if I am using HDMI output.are you running all your components into the AVR and then out HDMI to your display. There should be some documentation with your reciever about this.
Gbjonsson
Yes there is only 1 hdmi cable going to the displays, everything goes through the receiver.
ichbinbose
it may be a setting on the reciever, or your particular model may not support the volume overlay feature.
